Had really nice lunch today. Great service and food. Carpaccio of beef was lovely, fish and chips nice and hot, sardines really good. Only a short wait for a table. Lovely setting overlooking the sea. Waitress really helpful.

Fantastic place, very clean bright and airy. When you drive past you think it's a truck stop as there are lorries in the carpark, this is a mistake as the french say lorries in the carpark is a good sign!!
You have the choice of sitting inside, on the terrace outside under the shady trees or further outside in the sun. The food is simple but very nice and there is a special of the day. Expect to pay less than €20 per head for a superb meal with wine/beer and a coffee.
Toilets were clean, as was the rest of the premises, disabled access was easy with a gentle ramp into the cafe and the toilets. Carparking is extensive, to allow for lorries or cars, but is a little rough not smooth tarmac.Visited in September 2019
A lovely restaurant with helpful, friendly staff. The menu has a great selection (and is available in English if needed). Food was great. Would definitely visit again.

Great place for moules or pizza at lunchtime. Excellent friendly service & very good food (& lots of it!). A family of four fed for €44, including a drink?! Value.

Les serveuses sont souriantes et attentives, la nourriture bonne et le cadre magnifique. Nous avons donc passé de bons moments ici. Laissez vous tenter...

Nous avons déjeuné à deux ce midi, et malgré une terrasse pleine, l’attente a été courte, ce qui est appréciable.
Les moules au chorizo étaient bien cuisinées et très savoureuses. Le plat du jour, une queue de lotte, était également bien préparé, avec une cuisson maîtrisée et des accompagnements bien choisis. Les prix sont très abordable et la quantité satisfaisante.
Service efficace, une vue sur la mer très appréciée. Une belle découverte sur l’île de Ré.Traduction
🌟 A very good lunch at La Flotte-en-Ré! We had lunch for two this afternoon, and despite a full terrace, the wait was short, which was appreciated. The mussels with chorizo were well cooked and very tasty. The dish of the day, a monkfish tail, was also well prepared, with expert cooking and well-chosen accompaniments. J'y suis aller pendant début mai avec mes 3 enfants et mes parents. C'est un restaurant pleins de surprises. Ne paie pas de mine de l extérieur côté rue Grosse surprises !!! Vue sur la mer direct sur le port de l autre côté. Une carte très varié, prix abordable. La cuisine ? Un régal que du fait maison plats copieux. Un endroit agréable où vraiment le rapport qualité prix et plus que top du top.

A direct sea view overlooking the port on the other side. A very varied menu, affordable prices. The food? A delight, with hearty homemade dishes.
